Catch the gap

OUR METHOD

A claim gets checked like a detective story.

01

Find the actual source

We start with the benchmark, headline, paper, or link in your claim and trace it back to the original evidence.

02

Look for independent proof

A second source, repeat experiment, or official record helps tell us whether the first result is trustworthy.

03

Report the gap

We show what is supported, what is only claimed, and where the evidence is thin or contradictory.

FAQ

Fresh receipts, honest answers.

Here is what the verdict labels mean.

Verified

The claim is supported by a credible source or independent evidence. We still keep the exact source and its context visible.

Claimed only

The statement may be true, but we could not find strong evidence that it is proven. Think of it as an interesting lead, not a confirmed result.

Disputed

The evidence points in different directions, or a stronger source contradicts the claim. We call out the disagreement instead of hiding it.

Why do you need multiple sources?

One source can be incomplete, biased, or misread. Independent evidence helps separate a headline from what the original record actually says.

Does this replace a full fact-check?

No. It is a fast evidence-first check and a starting point for deeper investigation. We focus on clear sources, context, and what remains uncertain.
